Qi Gong is an indigenous practice that dates back thousands of years, and is the foundation of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and other martial arts in our lineage.
These movements are designed to help energy flow, and build our energy, by opening the meridians to increase organ health and overall well-being.
These practices are rooted in science and observing nature, and are based in Chinese medicine. Similar principals are found in yoga and other practices cross-culturally. Qi Gong consists of 3 aspects: ~Medical ~Martial ~Spiritual
While the practitioner receives the benefits of all three simultaneously, the focus can be on any specific part. Medically, Qi Gong is connected to traditional Chinese medicine and focuses on organ health, and is based in Yin Yang theory and the 5 Elemental diagnostic system. Martially, all Qi Gong movements and techniques are the foundation for our martial forms, from Five Animal Fist Kung Fu, Tai Chi, to Bagua. Spiritually, Qi Gong reminds us the mind and body ARE one. The various movements and breathing techniques help relax and ease the mind, body, and spirit optimizing our connection to the present moment,..~life itself..~ Lifetimes can be spent studying and learning the details of Qi Gong, to still only be a humble student of this medicine.
